Did Pilate washing his hands clear him from the guilt of condemning Jesus to death?

No, I think it just made him look worse because he did it and was making it look like he didn't do it.

no he said he had no guilt, but because he released Jesus, who he found innocent, to the angry mob he was as guilty as the sodiers who crucified Him.

I think no.. not at all, cause even if you show a symbol of something to get out of it you still feel guilty. Just as Pilate did, he felt guilty and he felt really bad what he did.

No it didn't because it was his fault that he was going to kill Jesus. He was trying to get someone else to do his job but he could of done. This man doesn't diserve to die he shall not die.

Absolutely not! The guilt would probably stay with him forever, unless he had built up a wall against his feelings.
