How do you think the angels felt as they heard Jesus say, "Father, forgive these people"?

I think it mad their hearts SINK, a bunch.
If I was a angel might have been kinda surprised
I think they where crying cause he died for or sins the angels knew that but not the people living down there.
They probably were thinking, why was God doing this? These people don't deserve forgiveness!
I think they understand how much Jesus realy loves us, so i think they know why he said that.
It must have made the angels feel really bad especially because Jesus was on the cross at the same time.
I think that they couldnt even begin to comprehend why Jesus would sacrifice Himself/ God would sacrifice His Son for these sinful people. They probably didnt understand why He wanted to forgive His children after they killed Him.
I think they felt sad because first of all Jesus is dying and second of all they know that we are very sinful, so probably they were worried too cause we might not repent from are sins and even if we were forgiven we still do bad stuff.
I think they felt proud and some what amazed that He whould still forgive them after all they had done to Him.

I think the hearts sank and they went down, down, down, down, down, dow- well you get what I mean. I would of bursted out crying if I was one of the angels!

I think the angels felt confused,saying they don't deserve it.
I can imagine God saying that and the angels herats went DOWN they SUNK BIG TIME.
They were kind of surprised!
They thought that he was wasting time.
i thank that the angels felt disaponted in God forgiving the people when thay did not deserve it
They might have been mad at us for leting Jesus die. :'(
they felt over come with Gods grace.
They must have been so amazed and proud that their LORD was so forgiving to these people who were killing Him! I would have been.
