Why didn't the people of God not recognize Him?

Because they were expecting a great king not the son of a carpenter born in a stable.
yes.
Becuase Satan decieved them and made them believe that he would save them from the Romans not their sins. YEs i think it is very possible.
I think the pepole of God didn't recegnize him becouse they thuoght it was the devils trick.
I dont really know the answer to that question but all I know is that I can still recognize him even though maybe other people cant.
People who read God's word and know how he will come to Earth are the ones that will really succeed it the long run. The people were drifting away from God which caused them to not be able to see him anymore.
Cause some people did not no who he was first and thats why some people did not recognize him.
'Cause satinput in the peoples minds that the signs weren't the truth they were just made up. Yes i do think people would not know who He is even now.
The people of God didn't recognize him cause they thought a great king will come but they never thought he would like a babby from a virgin mother and a father who was a carpenter.
yes. Cause not alot of people now and even belive in God.
I guess they didnt really pay attention!! they problably thought he would of came with a chariot and a whole bunch of angels. Kinda like the second comming!
Yeah! Cause mean what if that person was God?? I mean that was a wierd question. But God wants us to treat someone like if the'yre were God...........

I think that the people didnt realize because satan had come in and made them start to twist the words of the true prohecy. Yes,I think (and jews) dont know all the true things of God.
People didnt recognize the temptations of satan beacause they didnt have enough faith in God.
They didn't recognize him because they weren't believing in Him at the time.
They thought Jesus was coming as a king not a baby.
Because they were expecting a mighty king- someone to save them from the romans- not a little baby that was born in a stable!
Becase he was born in a lowly stable in a durty feeding stall, not in a ritch famaly or in a huge mantion.

Because they were going to save them from the bad things that were happening.
Because people are still suffering.

Yes it is because they think that he is supposed to stop bad things from happening but sometimes he doesn't and then people start to doubt that he is really there.
No because jesus had long hair and in these days not that much people had long hair in the old days people did and he would probably do something to say he was jesus or god and he would now for sure.
i thank that the people of god did not recongnize him becous he was a baby and he was not there to save them form the romins
