If you want to live then go to God's side.
I think people have to make a choice because if they didnt have then God would be a controling God and people wont want to be a part of his kingdom.
Cause God wonts people to make a good choice and go with the right one.
Because if they didnt then they would still be going in theyre evil ways.
Because they couldn't belive 2 things at the same time.
The people had to make a choice because it would be their choice for life. Some people thought it was complete stupidity to worship a God that doesn't show himself.
because God allways gives us a choice to come back to Him and we dont have to.
Because you can't have two Gods and please both of them.Your just worshiping the devil when you worship false idols because your not worshiping God she he dosn't get the glory.If they didn't make a choice they would've been making serving two Gods.
Because doesn't want to force us in whatever God we want to follow.
Because God wanted them to choose, cause God doesn't make you do stuff, he let's you choose and that they were wicked people and God wanted to follow the true God which was him.
Yep a BIG one because what they chose would mean life or death.
They had to make a chouse so that they would pick the one they would be the most happy in.
Because the people thought that no one could have more than one God. The people had to make a big decision.
cause our god said we can choose wich side were on and we can be on whatever we want to be on
Their God wasn't real. There only one true God and its our God.
Well, it says in the Bible that a man cannot serve two masters.
"For he will hate one and love the other, or he will obey one and dispise the other." The same probably goes for God too. We need to follow either God or satan (you know what I mean).
I thank the people had to make a chpiuce to have one god because you can not fulo to god's

i think it was cause he had to choose one of the gods.
