Why do you think that Elijah freaked out and ran away from Queen Jezebel after such a complete victory at Mount Carmel?

I think Elijah ran because he didn't want to die, yea who really wants to die well I don't.
He was afrade of death.
I think Elijah did what He did because after a moment of glory he thought that he had been the one thathad brought the fire down not God.
He proble thought he was going to get in troble.
I dont know maybe she was really really scary. Because she threaten him.
Because she said she was going to kill him.
Queen Jezebel wanted to kill Elijah. Elijah killed the prophets of Baal.
I think he was just scared and he didnt want to die eventhough he trosted God he wasnt sure of himself or of the fact that God was really going to save Israel and he didnt know if Israel was acually going to change.
I thikn it was because he didnt look to the Lord for answers and so he felt alone and got scared and feared that the Lord wasn't going to protect him so he rand and hid.
Because he forgot that God was going to be there for him so he just ran away and totally forgot about the help that God was going to give him.
Because he just forgot and he was just sooo scared, cause he won the people to listen to God but he just probably got proud and forgot God.
No I think he was just proud of him self and that he forgot that god would be with him, so then he ran away.
He still feared death and he is a human he dose not have full true faith in God he still had a sinfull nature.
He may have been afraid that the Queen would have hated him. That the Queen would have killed him.

I would just ask God to be with me through that period of time.
All of us are afraid of death, right? Even if he knew for sure God would protect him, the thought of death would be pretty scary.
well he did not what to die even thow he had god we are humen and we get scared.
He was probably afraid of jezibel and was ashamed of himself.
