If Lucifer held such a high position in heaven, why do you think he wanted more power?

Lucifer wanted more power because he wanted to be considered in every plan the godhead was planning. He also thought Micheal and him look the same so Micheal must be an angel so why can't i be in it. That was probably why he wanted more power.
I think it was because he was proud. He thought he was better than Jesus (or Michael) and he wanted to be in the Godhead. Obviously he couldn't, because he was just a person, a created being, and not a god.
I think because he knew that there were people that had more powerful then him.Also that he had been created and was not the creator which indecated that he was not the most powerful person in heaven.
I think that he wanted more power because of all the power he already had and was craving more and more power.
I think becaues he thought God was so popular then he was so he can ruler the heaven.then he can be powerful.
I think his pride got in the way, and made him "trip".
Lucifer wanted more power becase he got prowd and thought he was better than God.
He also wanted more power becase he wanted to help create the world and he got jellus that Jesus (becase he looked so mutch like the other angles)was the same, if not lower, in positon to him
Lucifer wanted more power because of jealousy.He had to have what Jesus had, which included being in the Godhead, and having all the praise that Jesus got.
Because the other angels apreciated him but they worshiped to the Godhead and They where planing something.
I think that he wanted more power because of all the power he already had and he was just craving more and more power as time went along, also because he was getting jealous.
He thought that he was more powerful than God was, and so God said no and kicked him out of Heaven.
He wanted to get God to end up saying good job you have earned your way to be the son. But that wouldn't of been good enough. I totally agree with banana26. He was craving that. (Like I'm craving chocolate) Even if he was God he would of not made this world he would problably be evil.

I think that he wanted more power because, even though he had such a high place in heaven, he wanted more power. Just like us, we never have enough. He though he could raise above God and rule.
I rhink it was because all the other angels thought Lucifer was the best angel there was. Then Lucifer wanted more power than he already had.
Because Lucifer saw that Micheal had more power than him and he wanted that power. But even if he got that power he would still want even more.
He was so full of himself and he wanted to be apart of the God head.
I think it's because he wanted to be first not second.
I thank Lucifer wanted more power becus he wanted to be in the place of Jesus.
to have more power than god.
