How can we show reverence for the name of God?

Well we should not say God's name in veine and just respect God allways
I think reverance for God would be guarding the sabbath hours. We should have our day of rest and not be fighting that. In our busy days we should also have some silence to focus on God without any other distractions. On a Friday night I like to play guitar.
NOT SWEARING BY IT OR USING IT IN VAIN.
Speaking of swearing.
Mathew 5:34-36 says:
34 But I say to you do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is Gods throne;
35 nor by the earth, for it is His footstool;
nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. 36 Nor shall you swear by your head because you cannot make one hair white or black.
Don't say "OMG" or hangout in the lobby at church. Don't say mean things to you’re class mates (or anybody) that would put down Christianity, even in a round about way.
I can show my reverence to God by being reverent at church. also by being friendly to the friends he gave me.
We can show reverance to god by not saying God's name in vain and just respect God always.
Respect his name and never use it in vane.
i think we can show reverence for god by trying our best not to get angry at people because we are all sinners, and i think you could have patience with people also.Also try your hardest to go to church and read your bible every day.

I can show reverence by respecting God in church, praying to Him every day and every night too.
I show reverence by never taking his name in vain,and not just at church but with my friends and where ever I go.God is so wonderful that he will do anything for you.He will always love you even when your deceiving him.
Don't get and excuse to swear or use his name in vain. Don't say " You guys always sing it."
My responce would be " We do it for praise. We don't do it for shocking news."

I can show reverence to the name God by praying about the friends he gave me. I can also show reverence by saying please and thank you to my teachers.
We can show reverence by not breaking the holy day.We can pray everyday,and going to church.

Hey thats an awesome bunch of verses!!!! We should also not say "omg!" or "oh my gosh!" because thats similar to "oh my ..." and can confuse others, when we don't mean to.
When we are in church we can be quiet and walk silently. Instead of running like some kids do and we could be quiet unlike some kids how run around and scream or yell, even after church during pot lock i think we should still be revernt because we are still in God's house.
We can be reverence by walking softly in church, do not chew gum in church, be quiet and listen to the Pastor reaching.
We worship by praying-talking to God. Not break the the commandments -saying His name in vein. Going to pathfinders-going to Oshkosh, learning about Esther-sharing with our friends about the Bible and learning about God and Jesus.
We can show reverence for God's name by not using his name in vain. We can not do the following things in the sanctuary; running, talking, and not using your cell phone.
I think we can show reverence to Gods name by not swearing or even saying OMG { to me goodness is alot more respectful}.We can also show respect by keeping his day and not just say "yeah i went to church so im keeping his day" an then go home and play games and watch tv. what im trying to say if your going to respect God do it to your best ability.
That reminds me of my friend who would correct people if they said omg he said "don't say oh hmy god if your going to say it then say oh my gosh". He was very stict about the lord name not ever did he say oh my god.
I think a good way to show reverence for God's name by not saying his name in vain and being respectful in church by listening to the pastor, be reverent while you pray and things like that.
